Bahar Şahin, known for her role in Zalim Istanbul, previously revealed that she was subjected to mobbing and psychological abuse on set. As rumors circulated online suggesting that the person she was referring to was actress Mine Tugay, Tugay issued a statement denying the allegations.
Today, Bahar Şahin shared a new video detailing what she went through:
“Some people asked, ‘It’s been five years, why are you speaking up now? Is it for attention? Is it because you’re out of work?’ Well, I’m not out of work, so everyone can relax. If I were unemployed, I wouldn’t be able to pay my rent. And I’m not the kind of person who makes others pay for me, thank God. Besides, during those five years, you and your little followers never stopped talking. You’ve spread so many disgusting lies and twisted stories about me that I just stepped back.”

“When I consider a job offer, I always look at the cast first. If there’s anyone involved who’s connected to you, I pull out. Because of the damage you’ve done. And secondly, before sending out voice recordings about me two weeks ago, you should’ve thought twice. About claiming I lack perception, about saying I’m not professional — you should’ve thought about all that before speaking. You need to be quiet now.”
“And you weren’t just cruel to me. You’ve been awful to anyone more successful than you. There was a woman we worked with on the same set, someone with a history of cancer. Just because she had more scenes than you, just because her role was more innocent, more heartfelt — you turned to her and said, ‘You had cancer before, why are you working so much? God forbid it comes back.’ That’s who you are. May God protect people from the evil in you.”
