Global Agency will represent the new series of Can Yaman and Özge Gürel

The Turkish company has acquired the international rights to Mr. Wrong, a romantic comedy by FOX Turkey, starring the popular actors, who return to share the screen after Bitter Sweet.

Global Agency announced that it will represent internationally FOX Turkey's new romantic comedy Mr. Wrong, starring Can Yaman and Özge Gürel.

According to Izzet Pinto's company, there is already great interest in fiction, and negotiations are underway in several areas.

The romantic comedy is produced by Gold Film, one of Turkey's leading production companies, responsible for titles such as Daydreamer, No 309, Iffet, Dila and Never Let Go.

Mr. Wrong premiered at FOX Turkey and positioned as a Friday audience leader among all audiences.

The series tells the story of Ezgi and Ozgur. A life of betrayal destroys Ezgi's hopes of finding Mr. Right, and when he meets the womanizer Ozgur, Mr. Wrong, it seems like a recipe for disaster. But fate, and persistent mothers, conspire to seek a happy ending.

Can Yaman and Özge Gürel are the stars of this new Turkish series, which brings them together again after Bitter Sweet in 2017.

Can Yaman, the popular actor from Daydreamer and Bitter Sweet, was the winner of TV's Top Leading Man 2019, with the majority of votes coming from Spain, Italy and the Philippines. Both series have achieved great success in many countries. The romantic drama Daydreamer quickly became a hit, doubling the average screen share of its channel in markets such as Spain, Greece, Israel and Italy.
