Kerem Bürsin and Hande Erçel: covering up their tattoos and other behind-the-scenes secrets of Love is in the air

Love is in the air has become one of the hottest series on television. The reason for all the success is unclear, but viewers are certainly hooked on the story and in love with their characters.

The roles of Serkan and Eda are very well thought out, and therefore, their actors must comply with all the rules of appearance. This also affects any tattoos they may have, which cannot appear on screen due to script requirements.

The most faithful followers of the series don't miss any detail and have noticed it. Both actors have a tattoo on their bodies, and it has never been shown in the series, despite being in quite visible areas.

As for Hande Erçel, he has a butterfly tattooed a little below the nape of her neck. We imagine that the producers did not see fit for this to be in the series as it could manipulate the look that has been established for her role. However, Eda wears a small tattoo of a star on her wrist that refers to the history of her past. A fake tattoo that the producers do approve of, even though the actress' butterfly could fit the personality that the protagonist shows in the series.

As for Kerem Bürsin, his forearm bears a tattooed phrase that reads "Look like you are, be like you look". Serkan's character is a serious man who cannot be allowed any detail that would detract from his respect. That is why this life motto tattooed on his arm has not been shown once on camera.

To be truthful, the two tattoos represent the characters quite well as they can be found to relate to the past or present history shown in the series.
