A while ago we learned that Hande Erçel, Eda in 'Love is in the air, was in the middle of a legal battle because a social media user had repeatedly insulted her, now we have learned that one of her co-stars, Melisa Döngel, has suffered an attempted assault by an armed man.
According to several Turkish media, a man from the neighborhood broke into her home located in Sariyer with a knife in his hand. It all started when the actress threatened to call the police, after observing that this man had injured several people in the street because they were allegedly making noise.
Fortunately, everything turned out to be a scare and the police arrived in time to arrest the individual at the scene before he could do anything to the young woman. The Public Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation against him and will clarify what happened in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Melisa Döngel continues her intense professional life, being one of the most acclaimed actresses in her country.
