Kerem Bürsin ('Love is in the air') and his biggest fans: Spanish grandmothers

Not only the high audiences of Turkish soap operas show the success they are having in Spain in recent years. A small glance at the multitude of fan accounts on Twitter allows us to appreciate the extent of this phenomenon based on memes, tips for learning Turkish, campaigns in favor of their favorite performers or requests for them to appear on magazine covers. And among the Middle Eastern leading men, it seems clear that Can Yaman has been displaced for some time now by the star of 'Love is in the air', Kerem Bürsin.

Regardless of the audience data, what is clear is that the noise that this series generates in social networks is turning it into a success story.

His fans in Spain are growing every day and often send him gifts and messages that, according to the actor himself, help motivate him. During an interview with The Alem podcast, Bürsin talked about a very special request that had come to him from Spain. 

The actor, who is currently according to his stories at a resort in the Maldives, said that the grandmother of one of his female fans had assured him that she loved him very much and had asked him for his autograph. "It's a very sweet thing. That she asked for my autograph was very nice and I was very happy. This kind of thing motivates me. I see that there are a lot of people who appreciate what we do. They send us many messages and gifts," said the actor.

While he appreciates the details that reach him from corners of the world, in the same conversation Bürsin took the opportunity to ask fans to support his favorite charitable cause with a donation instead.
