Although he had many concerns at the beginning, his father's thinking has gradually changed and, of course, he always respected what his son wanted to do. "I am very happy with my current situation. I am extremely lucky. I'm doing the job I dreamed of as a child."
No wonder. The protagonist of the Turkish soap opera has not only become a highly valued and well-known performer both inside and outside his native country, but he has also managed to make his own way and become a producer. In 2017 he founded Braveborn Films, a production company to support the vision of different creators. In 2018 they won the Grand Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival thanks to the co-production of Kelebeckler (Butterflies). Bürsin's interest in film is not only in front of the cameras.
One of Braveborn's current projects is Çevrimdışı Aşk, a film that could be translated as Love without connection to be directed by the director of Love is in the air, Altan Dönmez. It is a romantic film based on the book of the same name by Sebnem Burcuoglu, a writer from Turkey who has already had some success with her own fiction.
On the other hand, as a performer, he starred in series such as Muhteșem İkili or Yaşayamayanlar (Immortals), which can be seen on Netflix. And that is still at the beginning of what is expected to be a long career. The Bürsin may not have wanted him to choose that profession, but they should certainly be proud.
