Hülya Duyar, Sultan in 'My Home, My Destiny', operated on for brain tumor: The operation was a success.

Hülya Duyar, the actress who plays Sultan in 'My Home, My Destiny', underwent surgery on Wednesday for a brain tumor she was recently diagnosed with. The operation went well, as the actress' family members posted via social media. "Our Hülya is out of surgery. The doctor, Uğur Türe, has stated that the operation has been a success," they have said in a terse statement posted on the actress' Instagram profile, in which they have thanked the support received during the last few days.

According to the actress herself, the first symptoms appeared during the filming of her latest project. "Suddenly I couldn't speak during the filming. I had an attack," said the actress, who suffered another mishap a few days later. "I went on vacation and fainted. When I went to the doctor, he found a large tumor," she revealed. 

The actress, who is being treated at Yeditepe University Hospital, has received affection from all her colleagues. Cem Yılmaz, Bahtiyar Memili (brother of Necip Memili from 'Dolunay') have been keeping a close eye on the health condition of the actress, who has received affection from friends, family, and fans over the past few weeks. "Everything will be fine sister. I love you so much," Memili wrote to her hours before the intervention.

Who is Hülyar Duyar?  

Born on June 26, 1970, in Turkey, Hülya Duyar moved to Germany in 1978, where she spent part of her childhood and youth. After finishing her studies she started working as a hairdresser and make-up artist in the theater until 2000 when she got her first opportunity as an actress in a short film. Since then, Duyar has not stopped working and has consolidated her career as an actress.
