The well-known sports TV host and radio presenter, Diletta Leotta told her heart to heart in the living room of Verissimo by Silvia Toffanin. Together with the presenter, Diletta went over her career, the criticism, the arrival of her thirties and finally the most painful fact, her love story with the Turkish actor Can Yaman, who made countless fans go crazy this summer and filled pages and covers of newspapers.

The return to the stadiums...

The presenter of Dazn, about her return to the stadiums, said: "I am very happy to finally tell the soccer with the fans, because without them it was more than a year very complicated, because a fundamental part of soccer was really missing, because they are the main actors. And it was also difficult to fill that deafening silence and seeing the states full again has been a real joy".

Thirty years and a balance sheet....

Diletta celebrated her thirtieth birthday, her birthday was much criticized, the presenter says: "I must say that I am very happy with the things that happened to me, the people I met, the work path that I did, at 30 years old you also have to think about working a lot on yourself as a woman." From the criticism of the party on her birthday, Leotta says sorry: "I think it was a useless criticism. If someone thinks I make women dress like chandeliers, it means they think I'm electrocuted first. The girls who made this show, were not dressed as chandeliers but they made a path: at the beginning of the party they were dressed in white dresses, then they had a flower-shaped dress". 

The comments that hurt her ... and cosmetic surgery

"I hear and read a lot of negative comments where people say, 'You're fake, fake. You're plastic...that hurts.' More than responding the thing that interested me most was to understand the logical process through which a person comes to tell you something like that. If you decide to modify a part of your body, then does that also modify your simplicity? It doesn't, it's superficial to make an argument like that."

The love story with Can Yaman is over?

For the first time the presenter, reveals the details of the love story with the Turkish actor. "It was a beautiful story, a dream, a fairy tale. It was a lightning strike, we are two 30-year-old people, tried to live this huge passion, just imagine a Sicilian and a Turk what kind of explosive mix can be." He further adds:

"It was also all very fast. Then there's the real-life on the other side of the screen, that one was a little hard to keep intimate. You come to terms with that, I do this work, he does a lot of exposed work too. Dividing the person from the character was a little difficult at times."

A heartbreaking truth...

"The thing I regretted the most was that some people said it was a story at the table, a fake story. Those who think that don't know what love is. I think I'm in love, and I also think that when you're in love, a little bit you lose, you lose lucidity, certainty, you lose your head, you lose control, they were things that never happened to me. You also lose love."

Diletta and Can... are no longer a couple

"I don't know what will happen in the future. Since love is predictable and so is life, you can't plan for it. I hope that we can also find a balance in everyday life, a balance with myself and then be able to give this balance to all the people you love as well." The conductor asked Diletta, if she can currently still feel Can, the young woman added, "We are far away."Diletta makes her debut in December, as an actress, in the new Alessandro Siani's movie entitled: "Chi ha incastrato Babbo Natale", where Leotta will be the protagonist.
