Bürsin has been denouncing overconsumption for some time now. In a recent interview with ELLE, Bürsin talked about the importance of reusing the closet in order to have less impact on the environment. "I love fashion, I have a lot of respect for those who express themselves through what they wear, but it's not my priority. I've been wearing this for 8 years, the boots on my feet are 11-12 years old. We are in a period where we should be more responsible to the world. We should also hold brands accountable, such as those that test on animals," the actor declared.
