ON THE OCCASION OF THE RELEASE OF THE BOOK "IT SEEMS STRANGE TO ME TOO", CAN YAMAN HAS TOLD HIS STORY IN A LONG INTERVIEW FOR TV SORRISI E CANZONI

Since he has been in Italy, Can Yaman has only given one interview to Vanity Fair magazine. For the release of his book "Sembra strano anche a me", the Turkish actor told his story to the magazine Tv Sorrisi e Canzoni.

A long interview published in the issue on newsstands from today, Tuesday 30 November, from which emerges a new version of the actor."We are here to talk about the book but I want to say that it is an operation related to my perfume and my association for children" begins the Turkish actor explaining the reason for these projects.

Regarding Can Yaman Mania, the actor said: "The perfume, for example, represents me. It contains notes that tell about me because they are the ones I love: strawberry, cocoa, tobacco, whiskey. Perfume is something that brings people closer, if a woman wears it, it's like I'm there with her.

On the association Can Yaman for children, the actor explained: "Then there is the non-profit association that I created to help less fortunate children, the "Can Yaman for children". I care about children, I want to help the little ones who are in poor conditions. Childhood, adolescence were fundamental periods for my growth". 

About the book, the actor said, "In the book, I tell everything that happened to me before I became an actor. My parents, my childhood, what I experienced, and what led me to become the person I am now."

The Turkish actor said that since his childhood he has been fascinated by Italian culture. For this reason he wanted to study at the Italian scientific high school and then graduate in Law. Can Yaman, in fact, is a lawyer who has a law office in Istanbul with two of his partners - friends. Being an actor, however, he is currently an honorary partner. "I like the work as an actor but I need to know that I can do many things in life. It's not going to happen, but knowing that maybe when I turn 40 I'll get tired and go back to being a lawyer gives me great strength," He admitted upon question from the reporter.

He revealed that he knows how to cook thanks to his father: "I know how to prepare traditional Turkish dishes, but the thing my father passed on to me is to use creativity. I open the refrigerator and with what is there I can create delicious recipes".

He confided that these days he listens to the greats of Italian music namely Claudio Baglioni, Vasco Rossi, Eros Ramazzotti, and Renato Zero. "More generally, I appreciate deejays who experiment and mix different genres."

In addition, the actor told that he hates waking up early. "After waking up for about an hour I have to be quiet, I don't talk to anyone and I eat breakfast my way." Can Yaman's breakfast is full of sweet and savory washed down with gallons of coffee. He hates eating breakfast outside the home.

Words also for fans around the world: "This is the 'miracle', and you should put it in quotes please. It's a beautiful thing, I can't explain it. Perhaps it is due to the great respect I have for my fans and for women in general".

Space also for the new project Sandokan of which filming will begin in 2022. "I didn't know him, I prepared myself and realized how important he was, so I felt even more honored and lucky. It is an international project and I will be acting in English. We were supposed to shoot last year, then because of Covid we stopped. But I had been training and was very pumped up."
