Can Yaman and Demet Özdemir could shoot a promotional spot for Disney Plus

The production of the new Disney Plus TV Series in Turkey continues at a fast pace. The film company seems to be doing things in a big way and after having recruited the biggest actors in the Turkish market, it seems that soon it could shoot a promotional spot for the launch of the digital platform, and among the protagonists could be Can Yaman, Demet Özdemir and Hande Erçel.

In Turkey, Disney Plus continues to push forward its plans to launch its digital platform in the summer of 2022. In recent weeks it has managed to grab the most prominent protagonists of the Turkish television and film scene and among the best-known names in Italy are those of Can Yaman, Demet Özdemir, and Hande Erçel.

Just for the launch of the platform, the production company could soon shoot a promotional spot with all the protagonists who currently have a contract with Disney. So shortly Can, Demet and Hande could all find themselves in the same set.

Who will be Can Yaman's partner in the Disney Plus series?

Meanwhile, preparations for the production of the different series continue. Although this news has not yet been confirmed by the actor, soon Can might fly to Turkey to shoot the series. Ay Yapım, the producer of the TV series, has not yet revealed which female partner will be joining Can Yaman, at the moment we only know that it will be a world-famous actress.

It seems that at the beginning Disney was planning to reunite Can Yaman with Demet Özdemir, but it seems that the negotiations broke down (according to rumors, Demet did not want Can as a partner). Later, the name of Hande Erçel was also mentioned, but also in this case the negotiation would have failed.

The success of Bay Yanlış in Spain

The Turkish actor meanwhile continues his work in Italy, Can Yaman will debut on March 11 with Viola come il mare alongside Francesca Chillemi. In the meantime, however, he is enjoying great success in Spain with another of his works.

Since October 2021, the Nova channel has been airing Bay Yanlış (which in Spain has been translated into El hombre equivocado, editor's note) and it seems to be having quite a success. The episode aired on February 10, it set a record of audience ratings with a 2.4% share and 320,000 viewers. Compared to Italian TV these numbers may seem very small, but the Nova channel has an average share of 2.9%, so the goal was more than reached.

The series that saw Can Yaman alongside Özge Gûrel did not achieve the success hoped for in Turkey. In fact, due to the not very good audience results, it was closed at the 14th episode. Some media had insinuated that the series was too untraditional and conservative compared to other "dizi".

For example, the main girl, in this Ezgi, is an independent woman who does not yet live with her parents (as Sanem does at the beginning of DayDreamer) and all these factors could have led to the serial's failure.
