Can Yaman's debut with Viola come il mare on Canale 5 is getting closer and closer. The series in which he stars with Francesca Chillemi will debut in primetime on March 11. The Turkish actor returns to Mediaset's national network almost a year after the airing of Mr. Wrong, a dizi that saw him alongside Özge Gürel.

A little more than a month and the TV Series Viola come il mare will debut on Canale 5. As had already emerged from the lists published by Publitalia '80, the production that sees Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi as protagonists will occupy the Friday prime time slot (currently "in possession" of Alfonso Signorini for his Grande Fratello Vip).

According to the latest updates, the debut is scheduled for Friday, March 11 on Canale 5, starting at about 21:30. The production consists of 12 episodes, which will be distributed in six premieres. The airing of the first season will end on April 15.

This will be Can Yaman's first work as a protagonist in an Italian TV series and it sanctions the solid collaboration that binds him to the Lux Vide production company. The Turkish actor, in fact, has already made a brief appearance in the series Che Dio ci aiuti (also produced by Lux Vide) and next summer should start filming another work by the same production company, namely Sandokan.

Can Yaman's next projects: Sandokan and the new Turkish series for Disney Plus

Nothing definite is known about Sandokan yet. The project was announced in December 2020, but due to the pandemic and other issues, filming was always postponed. At the moment it is known that at the side of the Turkish actor there will be Luca Argentero and Raoul Bova (the latter should replace the announced Alessandro Preziosi).

As for the female protagonist, an official name has not yet been given, but it is speculated that Mirian Leone or Matilde Gioli could take part in the cast. Meanwhile Can Yaman, very soon, could return to Turkey to shoot a new series. It seems, in fact, that he has signed a contract with Disney Plus, for a series that should be aired soon on the digital platform.

There is not much news about this project either, not even about the actress who will accompany the actor in this new adventure. The series will be directed by Uluç Bayraktar, while the production has been entrusted to Ay Yapım, which in its list of successes can also count Ada Masalı, whose last episode aired in Turkey on December 11, 2021.
