Demet Özdemir speaks for the first time after her engagement to Oğuzhan Koç: "They ruined the surprise."

Demet Özdemir and Oğuzhan Koç are getting married. Just a few days after their reconciliation, the couple has taken their relationship a step further and got engaged after the musician surprised his girl on Valentine's Day with a surprise proposal in a luxurious hotel in Istanbul.

After overcoming the crisis that led them to go their separate ways last December, the couple is going through its happiest moment. This was acknowledged by the musician at the exit of the hotel where the proposal took place. "We are very happy. God makes everyone happy," said Koç, who responded politely when the press referred to the fact that he had dressed like a real groom for the proposal. "I dressed as necessary."

For her part, Demet Özdemir also wanted to make a statement at the exit of the hotel where the proposal took place and where several journalists were waiting to capture the first images of the couple. "They ruined the whole surprise," she told the journalists, who approached them as they got into the luxurious car that the musician had rented.

Although the couple has hardly wanted to reveal any details about what happened inside the hotel, the Turkish press has unveiled some of the details about the surprise that Oğuzhan Koç prepared for his girlfriend. According to the media, which also points out that the couple will get married in the summer, Koç rented a luxury car, specifically a Rolls Royce, to pick up his girl and head to a hotel located in the Sarıyer district.

Once at the hotel, the couple headed to one of the lounges, which was decorated with golden balloons and where several friends were present who were complicit in the surprise. There, while the song 'Dünyadan Uzak' by the Turkish band 'Pinhani' was playing, ğuzhan Koç asked the star of 'Erkenci Kus' and 'My Home My Destiny' to marry him.

The couple has overcome a major crisis

The couple's engagement comes barely a week after their reconciliation was confirmed following a separation of just over a month. According to the Turkish press last December, the relationship ended after a fierce argument after a romantic getaway to Paris in mid-December. "It's definitely over, there's no turning back," the couple told their closest friends at the time. However, after a month and a half of separation, the couple reflected and gave each other a second chance that has culminated in engagement and wedding plans for next summer.
