Demet Özdemir would not have wanted Can Yaman as a partner in Disney's new 'dizi'

The arrival of Disney Plus in Turkey is sparking gossip within the TV Series market. The platform has managed to land characters of the kind of Demet Özdemir and Can Yaman, who have been the talk of the town in recent years. Their fans have dreamed of seeing them together again on TV after the success of DayDreamer and it was rumored that this could happen in a Disney series, but it seems that this would not happen because of Demet's will.

Rumors continue to leak out about the new series that Demet Özdemir will shoot for the digital platform Disney Plus. At the moment, very little is known: it will be titled Dünya İle Benim Aramda, Kerem Bürsin is expected to star alongside her, and filming is expected to begin in March. In reality, however, it seems that the casting for this new dizi has been quite eventful.

Until now, there has been talking of Hande Erçel's rejection for the lead role because of an ambitious love scene, but in the last few days Can Yaman's name has also popped up. Yes, even the actor has signed an agreement with the digital platform and for some time it was rumored that Disney representatives wanted to recreate the golden couple of Erkenci Kuş (DayDreamer - The Wings of Dream, ed.) in a series, namely Can and Demet, but apparently, things would have gone differently, just to meet the needs of the actress.

Recently some rumors had revealed that the main couple of the new Disney series would have been Demet Özdemir and Can Yaman, but things would have been different because of the actress. Rumors coming from the Turkish media say that Demet would not have liked the idea of working alongside Can Yaman again and this would have lowered the probability of seeing the DayDreamer couple together again.

The fact remains that Can Yaman, despite everything, will have his series on Disney Plus. Despite rumors in Italy that the actor will be part of the new cast of L'Isola dei Famosi with a staggering cachet, the probability of this happening is really low since the actor should return to Istanbul in the spring to start shooting this new series.

At the moment we only know that it will be produced by Ay Yapım, a production company that over the years has churned out many successful TV series such as Ada Masalı, while the director should be Uluç Bayraktar. Regarding the female protagonist of the series, however, nothing is known yet, although according to the Turkish press Can Yaman could be joined by an international face.
