Can Yaman is going through one of the best moments of his career. The actor has been working in Italy for some time, but he could soon return to Turkey thanks to a Disney + project. However, before accepting, the performer has asked to shoot again with his ex-partner, Demet Özdemir.
Diletta Leotta's ex is still working on the Italian series 'Viola come il mare', and he is also focused on other projects, such as his new book, his cologne, or his charity foundation. However, the actor would be willing to make a gap in his very busy schedule to return to his country to shoot a new series, if one very specific condition is met.
Can Yaman and Demet Özdemir: together again on the small screen?
It is a Disney + production, which is starting to create projects in Turkey (and which could have influenced the breakup of Hande Erçel and Kerem Bürsin). Apparently, Can is eager to accept that role, but, according to Turkish media, he wants to do it hand in hand with Demet Özdemir, with whom he already worked in 'Erkenci Kus: Dreaming Bird', a series in which they fell in love on and off-screen.
The soap opera, which premiered in 2018, was a huge success inside and outside Turkey, especially because of the chemistry the two leads had. Although they broke off their romance shortly after the promotion of 'Erkenci Kus' ended, Can and Demet, as she is engaged to fellow actor and singer Oguzhan Koç, still have a good relationship.
As for the new series, not all details are known yet, but it is a production directed by Uluç Bayraktar and produced by Ay Yapim. The script will be written by Kerem Deren, who has already signed many hits in recent years.
