Demet Özdemir defends Hazal Kaya after brutal criticism of her work: You can't underestimate her.

'Five reasons why I hate Hazal Kaya's acting'. That is the harsh and controversial headline of the article published by Ahmet Hakan, the editor-in-chief of 'Hürriyet' newspaper, about the latest work of the 'Our Story' leading lady. Her participation in 'Pera Palas'ta Gece Yarısı' series has not been to the journalist's liking, who has brutally lambasted her work. 

Following the article, Hazal Kaya has defended herself via social media from the criticism. "You may not like it but some may have changed the scale of justice of criticism. But you can't make hateful comments about my body or my presence!" wrote the actress, who has received the support of a large number of fans and co-workers.

The criticism voiced by Ahmet Hakan has not sat well with other actresses who have shown their unconditional support for Hazal Kaya through social media. One of the first to respond has been Demet Özdemir. The star of 'Erkenci Kus' has not hesitated to respond to the journalist through her networks. "We know what criticism means, but I'm sorry, you can't get used to insults. You can't ignore the efforts as if it's normal and underestimate the person in front of you! Be respectful to be respected. I condemn the 5 items you listed for Hazal Kaya. It's a shame," the actress tweeted.

Tuba Büyüküstün has also reacted to Ahmet Hakan's article, which she harshly criticized. "Why don't I read Ahmet Hakan? His inability to be impartial is very much felt in his writings. I have no time to waste with arrogance under the name of criticism. I think he has not been able to improve in terms of style for years," the actress starring in 'Sühan' has written.
