Demet Özdemir, Disney rumor: series available in summer, on her side Metin Akdülger

New rumors are arriving about Disney Plus' TV Series, Dünyayla Benim Aramda, which stars Demet Özdemir. Apparently, the second male lead has been chosen, which should be Metin Akdülger. Not only that, it seems that the series will be available on the digital platform as early as summer, ready to usher in the arrival of Disney Plus in Turkey.

The cast of Dünyayla Benim Aramda, the new Disney Plus series starring Demet Özdemir, would be complete. In fact, only a male protagonist was missing and, apparently, for the name there would be no more doubts. According to TV series expert Birsen Altuntaş, Demet's partner will be Metin Akdülger, whose last appearance in a TV series was in a Netflix production titled Kulüp.

The filming of the series was supposed to start these days, but setting up the sets took longer than expected, so it was postponed until next week. The actress herself admitted that she is not yet aware of the exact date of the start of filming and cannot give too much information about it. Anyway, it would seem that the series could be available on Disney Plus as early as the summer of 2022, to usher in the launch of the digital platform in Turkey.

Metin Akdülger will bring the character of Kenan to life.

The plot of Dünyayla Benim Aramda tells the story of İlkin (Demet Özdemir), the owner of a public relations company, who will test her better half Tolga (Buğra Gülsoy) to test her trust. A test in which Sinem (Hafsanur Sancaktutan), İlkin's best friend, will also participate, but Tolga will be conflicted between the two women, not knowing that Sinem is İlkin's friend.

In short, the situation will get quite complicated.

Metin Akdülger, with the character of Kenan, will only enter the series later and his role within the storyline is still unclear. Also in the cast will be: Melisa Döngel (Sen Çal Kapımı's Ceren), Zerrin Tekindor and İbrahim Selim.

The return of Demet Özdemir in a romantic series

With Dünyayla Benim Aramda, Demet Özdemir once again returns to play a role in a romantic TV series, in fact, her last appearance in such production was as Sanem in Erkenci Kuş, in which she starred alongside Can Yaman.

The new series for Disney Plus will be directed by Hülya Gezer, with a script by Pınar Bulut and production by MF Yapım. At the moment, it has not yet been revealed in which city the set of the series will be set.
