Can Yaman thanks: "I owe a lot to Italy".

Can Yaman lands (or rather, lands in a helicopter) at the Monte Carlo Film Festival de la Comédie and there's more for everyone. The charming Turkish actor, who has achieved international popularity thanks to numerous successful series, is in the Principality of Monaco to collect an award for social work at tomorrow's Gala Evening at the Grimaldi Forum.

But the excitement begins with the news of his arrival: the meeting is armored but on the terrace and sea view. No video, few or no questions, warns his entourage! But then Can Yaman arrives at the Bay Hotel, elegant in his style (a bit of haute couture pajamas, though!), and the music changes: as a true star he allows himself to be photographed by photographers and even those who are not photographers. Can Yaman For Children

It starts with the award to his non-profit organization that, after numerous initiatives in aid of children in difficulty.

"Since I've been in Italy - says the actor in perfect Italian, who explains that he studied in high school in his Istanbul - I've received so much love and I've been surrounded by crazy affection. So I've always been worried about finding a way to reciprocate. That's where the idea of my association was born, which takes care of children in difficulty".

As an actor I have always been surrounded by comedians, even moving in romantic situations, and I think I have the " comedy time ". In the last series I did, where it's still about a love story, there's a lot of improvisation and no shortage of gags. So, yes, I would like to make a real comedy".

Between fashion, TV, and perfumes

After having published an autobiography (with the title Sembra strano anche a me), now, as a true entrepreneur, he is also launching a perfume! "I would say that I like to express myself in different ways - he clarifies - even through my clothes. As I've always done on the other hand: I feel the need, today more than ever, to make the real me known. On Google - says Yaman - there is a lot of untrue information. 

That's why I wanted to tell the story of my life and the sacrifices and teachings I received, explaining them in a book that covers the first 24 years of my life. That is, the entire period before I became an actor. I wanted to make known the most unknown part of me. And even my perfume - he proudly underlines - reflects me, because it contains my tastes and my aromas, which certainly cannot be transmitted by TV. The essences I used for my perfume? Strawberry, dark chocolate, and whisky: are the things I love the most! A few souvenir photos in front of the sea, under the sun of Monte Carlo, and a trail of perfume...man!
