Selçuk Olcay, a retired screenwriter and police officer, filed a lawsuit against Ay Sanat Production and Production Corporation, claiming that the script for the TV series 'Çarpışma', starring Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Elçin Sangu, belonged to him and that the script had been used without permission. In the case, in which there is a claim for compensation of 100,000 TL in total, property, and morals, the expert report reached the file between the hearings.

In the expert report; It was noted that the stories of the main characters between the plaintiff Selçuk Olcay's work named "Justice Angels" and the work named "Collision" were beyond coincidence, and it was at a level that would constitute plagiarism of Olcay's work.
IT WAS REPORTED THAT THE APPLICANT IS ENTITLED TO SUBSTANTIVE DAMAGES
In the report, it was stated that the infringement of the intellectual property rights of Olcay claimant had taken place and that the producer and the television company were entitled to financial compensation after deduction of the total income and taxes. In the expert report, it was stated that the moral compensation was left to the discretion of the court.
