Preparations have begun in Turkey for the second chapter of Love Tactics, the Netflix original production starring Demet Özdemir and Şükrü Özyıldız. According to the latest rumors released by Birsen Altuntaş, filming for the movie will begin in July.

Professionally speaking, it is a very rich period for Demet Özdemir. She was recently chosen as a brand ambassador by Disney+ Türkiye, and in fact, she attended the presentation event together with Hande Erçel, but the sequel of Love Tactics, the Netflix original production that saw her alongside Şükrü Özyıldız and Atakan Çelik, has also been announced.

Although the actress is currently busy on the highly confidential set of the series for Disney+ Dünyayla Benim Aramda, she had previously signed a contract with Netflix, so she will be able to complete her role in the sequel, the filming of which-as announced by Birsen Altuntaş-will begin in July.

A winning team does not change. In fact, the second chapter of Love Tactics will also star not only Demet Özdemir as Aslı but also Şükrü Özyıldız as Kerem and Atakan Çelik as Tuna.

The film will be scripted by Pelin Karamehmetoğlu, but there will be a change in direction: in fact, Kıvanç Baruönü will take over from Emre Kabakuşak.

The first chapter of Love Tactics was released on Netflix on February 11, 2022, and tells the story of two strangers, fashion blogger Aslı and advertising graphic designer Kerem. Both do not believe in love, but they are convinced that they know the right tactics to win someone over.

One night they meet at a club and decide to try each other's love tactics and bet that one of them will succeed in falling in love with the other using these unusual tactics.

The film achieved good worldwide success. A few days after its release, precisely in the week between February 14 and 20, it was the most viewed film on Netflix and was viewed on the digital platform for nearly 17 million hours.

Demet Özdemir's success internationally came mainly thanks to the series Erkenci Kuş, which saw her alongside Can Yaman, helped popularize this Netflix original product as well. Because of this, it was decided to produce a new chapter, and Disney+ granted the actress the opportunity to shoot with the competing digital platform since it is a sequel to an old project.
