Hande Erçel present at Disney+ event with Demet Özdemir: 'It was a pleasant evening'

The arrival of Disney Plus in Turkey is just a short time away, and the digital platform has decided to celebrate the event by presenting its official ambassadors to the press, including Demet Özdemir and Hande Erçel. Waiting for news on the series that will feature them, there is total secrecy on the projects at the moment.

Disney+ will be available in Turkey starting June 14, and exactly one month before the digital platform's debut, an event was held in Istanbul at which the official ambassadors, chosen from among the most beloved faces of the Turkish film and TV world, were presented.

A special dinner was organized for the occasion at Soho House, attended by two faces well known to the Italian public, Demet Özdemir and Hande Erçel.

Both will be two of the official faces of the launch of Disney+ in the territory. Can Yaman was not present at the evening, although he will very soon be collaborating with the digital platform on a new production.

Both Demet Özdemir and Hande Erçel were asked by the press on their way out of the Soho House. Both were proud of their collaboration with Disney+, but at the same time, they maintained certain confidentiality, which is imposed by the strict contracts with the digital platform.

Demet, at the moment, is busy on the set of Dünyayla Benim Aramda, alongside Buğra Gülsoy and Hafsanur Sancaktutan, but the release date of the series is still unknown and according to some estimates may not happen anytime soon. In fact, original productions on digital platforms such as Disney+ or Netflix, before they are released, have to deal with dubbing for the various languages of the countries where the service is available, and the work is quite time-consuming.

Burak Deniz is also among the ambassadors.

Hande Erçel also made statements about the ambassadors' dinner organized by Disney+: "We were together, it was a very pleasant evening." It is about her next engagement with the digital platform that she too glossed over the topic ("I will explain the plans later, thank you"), although at the moment rumors would have her alongside Can Yaman in the series El Turco.

Ambassadors also include Burak Deniz, known to Italian audiences for being one of the main characters in The Ignorant Fairies - The Series. Directed by Ferzan Özpetek, it was the first original production for Disney+ Italy.

Rounding out the group of ambassadors are Aras Bulut İynemli, Aslı Enver, Cansu Dere, Eda Ece, Engin Akyürek, and Pınar Deniz.
