An emotional post from Özge Gürel!

Özge Gürel and Serkan Çayoğlu exchanged engagement rings last Saturday. Özge Gürel, who recently lost her father, shared photos from the engagement ceremony on her Instagram account today and dropped an emotional note.

Here is that note; "I couldn't run home and hug my father on Father's Day this year, but with these wonderful people, my beloved and I celebrated our new adventure and gave it to my father as a gift. This house, this bench is my childhood... My father's favorite place, we gave him the news right here. It hasn't even been a year yet... How sure I was that he would always be here with the light in his eyes. It is still very difficult to talk about your absence... I can't get the words out of my mouth, as if such a day never happened, but if I do, it will become a reality. It's a pain that will never go away. The pain just stands there, you build a life around it, you grow. You knew this, my father, you suffered so many losses, you were so tired, yet you continued to believe in people even when they broke you. I used to complain about this habit of mine, which is similar to yours. But I'm glad I kept going, father. I owe all the beauties, wonderful people and love in my life to being like you, to growing up with you. I'm glad you're my father. You left me, us, a clear conscience and a lot of longing. I love you so much. I know there is one more life to hug..."
