The fifth edition of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival, the event on the world of television and Cinema, conceived and directed by Tiziana Rocca, will take place at Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula (Cagliari). Many guests will attend the kermesse, including Can Yaman. The actor will arrive in Sardinia to present his biography, but also to receive an award for the charitable activities of his association Can Yaman for children.

From June 9 to 12, the fifth edition of the Filming Italy Sardegna Festival will be staged at Forte Village Resort in Santa Margherita di Pula (Cagliari).

Conceived and directed by Tiziana Rocca, it is dedicated to the world of cinema and television with presentations of films and TV series.

Lots of guests in attendance including Can Yaman, who for the occasion will present his biography "It seems strange to me too." As has already happened at the Monte-Carlo Film Festival, the actor will be honored in Sardinia for the charitable activities of his association Can Yaman for Children with the Filming Italy Creativity Award. So far, the association has raised more than $1.8 million, which is used for projects involving: payment of medical expenses for underprivileged children, donations to educational NGOs, and provision of water and food in countries with the greatest difficulties.

Filming Italy Sardegna Festival this year will have Donatella Finocchiaro as its special patroness. A total of more than 60 titles will be presented among documentaries, television series, and films. Many names from the world of Italian cinema and TV, such as that of Raoul Bova, fresh from the success of Don Matteo, but also Giuseppe Zeno and directly from Il Paradiso delle Signore (of which the first episode of the sixth season will also be broadcast) there will be the interpreter of Umberto Guarnieri, namely Roberto Farnesi.

Also present will be Anthony from Bridgerton and Addison from Grey's Anatomy.

Space will also be given to international TV series. Straight from Grey's Anatomy will be Kate Walsh, aka the interpreter of Addison Montgomery, while for This is us there will be Justin Hartley, who lends his face to Kevin Pearson. From the Bridgerton phenomenon will come, Jonathan Bailey, who plays the role of Anthony in the series.

The festival will also be an educational opportunity for Academy Cinema's many schools and college students, who will be able to participate in masterclasses chaired by the many guests not only live, but also through the streaming platform, and participation will also award them educational credits.
