Fear for Can Yaman and Diletta Leotta. Fans cross the line

Can Yaman's fans really seem to have crossed the line this time.

The Turkish actor, who became famous thanks to the TV series DayDreamer broadcast on Canale 5, in which he starred with Demet Ozdemir, has encountered unprecedented notoriety in Italy. More than admiration, that of some fans has become an obsession.

A few days ago, Can Yaman published a post on his Instagram profile in which he announced that he was forced to move house as a result of some fans' obsessive behavior toward him. This is not the first time that Can has been "besieged" by female admirers, especially outside his home in Rome, where the actor is faced with fans seeking autographs and photos at all hours of the day and night.

The news of course also reached Turkey, with several sites even talking about real threats.

Here is what we learn from some tabloids: "Can Yaman explained that some people's admiration has reached dangerous levels. The handsome actor reported that obsessive fans went to his home in Rome and harassed him, going far beyond the permissible. In addition to him, his former partners, especially TV host Diletta Leotta, have also received death threats from their obsessive fans. Some of his fans even sent a threatening letter to Leotta."

That is why Yaman made a drastic decision, "I have to move to another house, leave Rome." Meanwhile, police are investigating the alleged threats Can Yaman and Diletta Leotta suffered.

Can will still remain in Italy because he is to film the series for Disney Plus, El Turco, and later the remake of Sandokan, produced by Lux Vide.

The actor's fan clubs have obviously sided with their idol, accusing these fans of being stalkers. This whole affair is worrying not only because it will harm Can Yaman's safety, but also because it could lead the actor to take the drastic decision to leave Italy for good.
