Viola come il mare with Can Yaman on Canale 5 in September: possibly airing Tuesday or Wednesday

Viola come il mare starring Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi will air on Canale 5 from September. The official announcement comes from the presentation of the official programme schedules, which took place at the end of June in Cologno Monzese, and from the list published by Publitalia '80 on the 2022/2023 television season. The day of broadcasting is still uncertain, but it could be Tuesday or Wednesday.

Can Yaman arrives on Canale 5 in autumn with Viola come il mare

A few days ago the 2022/2023 programme schedules of the Mediaset television channel were presented in Cologno Monzese. Space was not only given to television programmes, but also to series and films that will be broadcast in the first run on the various networks.

Among the series, the airing of a production much awaited by the public was announced, namely, Viola come il mare, starring Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi. The series will arrive on Canale 5 in September, but for the moment the date of its debut and the day of its placement in the weekly schedule have not been revealed. Presumably, it could be aired on Tuesdays or Wednesdays as Monday and Friday primetime will be occupied by Alfonso Signorini's Grande Fratello Vip, while on Thursday evening there will be Pio and Amedeo with some special episodes of Emigratis. Saturday will see the return of Tu si que vales, with Maria De Filippi among the judges, while on Sunday there will be Enrico Papi with Scherzi a parte.

Viola come il mare could probably take over Tuesday and Wednesday evenings with the Champions League matches since Mediaset holds the TV rights for the 2022-2023 season as well.

The plot of Viola come il mare is set in Palermo

So finally, Can Yaman's fans will have a chance to see him try his hand with his first Italian-language series.

The production is set in Palermo and tells the story of Viola (played by Francesca Chillemi), a journalist who decides to move to the Sicilian capital to try to find her father, whom she has never met during her lifetime.

In the city, she starts working for a newspaper that deals with crime and, thanks to her profession, crosses paths with Francesco (Can Yaman).

He is a deputy police commissioner and an initially hostile relationship develops between the two, but despite this, she begins to participate in police investigation activities. She proves to be very good at it, also thanks to a special talent of hers: Viola can tell what people are really like from certain signs and behaviours that are invisible to the eyes of others. It will later be her father who will shed some light on this gift of hers.
