If we talk about the remake of Sandokan, a highly anticipated project produced by Lux Vide announced in 2020, we immediately tend to think of Can Yaman. In fact, the Turkish actor, who has become a real sex symbol in Italy, will play the famous "Malaysian Tiger," the protagonist of the series. In the remake of the famous miniseries of the 1970s, however, it is known from the beginning the presence of another actor who is very loved by the Italian audience. We are talking about Luca Argentero, who seems to have finally had his say on the project.

A few days ago, Can Yaman's fans were back to having doubts about the famous Sandokan remake in which the actor will star. Indeed, it had been some time since the Turkish actor had not updated his admirers about the long-awaited project. Many even ended up assuming that the series had stalled and that Yaman would give way to "El Turco."
Can Yaman, however, will not be the only star of the Sandokan remake. In fact, it is worth mentioning that the presence in the project of a well-known Italian name beloved by the domestic audience is well known: Luca Argentero. The "Doc" actor, who will play Sandokan's faithful friend and right-hand man Yanez in the Lux Vide-produced series, has been silent about the project for a long time. Now, however, Argentero seems to have finally decided to shed some light and, perhaps most importantly, reassure fans about the series:
"At the moment the project is in the writing stage [...] Being an international co-production, the processing stages are more articulated."
Few words, those of Luca Argentero, but just enough to rekindle the hope of all those who anxiously await the Sandokan remake and who feared yet another stop to the project.
