Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi, fans blurt out about fiction: 'Disappointing, he acts badly'

Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi are back in prime time with Viola come il mare, the new Mediaset drama starring them on Friday nights.

A six-part series that, after the first episodes already aired on TV, has triggered quite a few criticisms and controversies among fans.

Many say they are disappointed with the debut of this new TV couple, and they also point the finger at the "low level" of writing and plot of the drama, which would not be convincing the audience much.

Fans blurt out about Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi after Viola Come il mare.

In detail, Viola come il mare made its debut in the prime time of Friday night on Canale 5 and in its first episode was able to hold its own perfectly against the highly-followed Tale e Quale Show, the program hosted by Carlo Conti aired in the same time slot on Rai 1.

Yet there has been no shortage of criticism of the two actors, with some especially pointing the finger at the Turkish star, claiming that although he is so good-looking physically, he would not be a good actor at all.

"I am following Viola Come Mare and I must say that Can is a real dog at acting," wrote one user on social media after watching the first episodes of the TV series.

"Can Yaman is a great guy, but he acts like the actors on The Lady," wrote another user on social, bringing up Lory Del Santo's beleaguered series.

It is a 'Disappointing Fiction,' controversy over Can Yaman and Francesca Chillemi

"So far the drama with Can Yaman and Chillemi is disappointing. I expected better, then he acts really bad," wrote another social user after following the first episodes of the series.

"Being good-looking does not mean being good and in fact Can acts really bad. She should instead avoid bringing Azzurra Leonardi to Mediaset," wrote another commenter who also brings up the character of the former Miss Italy in the drama Che Dio ci aiuti.

At the same time, however, there was also no shortage of positive reviews from viewers, especially towards the Turkish actor.

There are those who defend Can Yaman after his first fiction where he acts in Italian

For example, there are those who argue that Can acts much better than many Italian actors who have acted in films and dramas destined for the small screen in recent years.

Some others, however, argue that he needs to be given some time to perfect himself and remember that this is the first TV series in which he is acting completely in Italian.

Could Yaman and his colleague pass the test with a second season of Viola come il mare? Fans of the television series produced by Lux Vide certainly hope so and thus to see them in action again.
