Can Yaman return to Italy? Signing two Mediaset dramas

Can Yaman after his success with Turkish TV series, landed in Italy with the drama Viola come il mare, in the role of Inspector Francesco Demir. The series was a great success and aired on Canale 5, in a cycle of 6 episodes, registering an average of 3 million viewers per week, with peaks of 19% share.

The series will air on the Disney Plus streaming platform and looks to be among the most anticipated titles of the upcoming TV season. Having finished filming El Turco, which will last approximately six months, Can Yaman is expected to return to Italy for the filming of Viola come il mare 2.

Confirmation of the second season of the Italian drama was given by Luca Bernabei, head of Lux Vide, who confirmed how the second season of Viola come il mare is already being written. The drama is scheduled to be released in the 2023/2024 TV season.
