Can Yaman moved to Budapest months ago to film the new international drama that will be aired on the Disney Plus streaming platform. Let's find out together everything we know about the drama El Turco, which will star the Turkish actor.
The Disney Plus series is directed by director Ay Yapim and the plot is based on the novel of the same name, by writer and historian Orhan Yeniaras. The book recounts the vicissitudes of Ottoman Empire leader Balaban Agha, an officer who during the siege of Vienna finds himself wounded in the Italian town of Moena and is rescued by its inhabitants. There he will meet a young woman who will particularly help him, played by Abruzzo actress Greta Ferro.
To prepare for the role Can Yaman is undergoing several special pieces of training, learning to ride a horse, use the sword, and archery. To train himself, the Turkish star is devoting his whole self to special pieces of training with the stunt team.
In the latest fight video he shared, the actor admitted that that is just one of the millions of workouts they have done since they started filming. "One of a million practices since we started off… I’ll be missing them for a while after this month.. Inch by inch it’s coming along to an end and it’s gratifying to see it through. There’s still a lot of work to do though " he wrote on his social profiles.
It would indeed seem that between March and April, the filming of El Turco will come to an end, and Can Yaman will finally be able to return home. His break, however, will not be very long as in spring the star is due to start filming the second season of Viola Come il mare. The Turkish actor will get little to no rest in the coming months, but it seems he is nonetheless proud of the successes he is achieving.
