Burak Özçivit, revealed the reaction of his eldest son to the arrival of his brother: 'He surprised us'.

It has been two months since Burak Özçivit and his wife, also actress Fahriye Evcen, welcomed their second child, a boy whom the couple have named Kerem and who made his older brother Karan, who was born in April 2019. 

It was precisely the couple's eldest son who became the great protagonist of their parents' last meeting with the press, who were interested in how Karan was managing the arrival of his brother at home. And everything went better than they expected! as the happy parents have revealed.

The birth of little Kerem has been a great event for his older brother, who was waiting with a lot of nervousness and excitement for the arrival of what will undoubtedly be the best playmate he could have. "He was waiting for him with curiosity, but he also surprised us", said the happy parents who assured that their first son already showed in his first visit to the hospital that he was going to be a great older brother. 

"His reaction was fantastic. He came and saw his brother and he was very happy. He got used to it from the first day", said the couple, who believe that little by little the bond between their children will be strengthened and Karan will become more aware of what his brother's arrival means. "We believe that as time goes by, they will perceive the feeling of brotherhood", said the actress, who assured that Kerem looks a lot like Karan.

One of their first outings without children, and although they have always tried to keep their family life away from the media spotlight, the couple of actors did not hesitate to answer all the questions from journalists and offer some details about the arrival of the little one in the world. "The birth went very well. Karan is in good health and so am I," said the mother while her husband confirmed that, like at Karan's birth, he had been present at the delivery and experienced it with great intensity.

Fahriye Evcen plans to return to work soon

Finally, after a chat of a few minutes, and before saying goodbye kindly, Fahriye Evcen, who has taken a break from her television series projects after becoming a mother to take care of her children, revealed that she plans to return to filming very soon. "I don't want to take a prolonged break," she told reporters.
