The two actors in the much-loved drama Love is in the Air split in March 2022 after a relationship that lasted about a year. Hande has embarked on a new relationship with Hakan Sabanci, a 31-year-old businessman and chairman of the board of directors of Densa Denizcilik Holding, a shipping industry giant that boasts a fleet consisting of as many as twenty-one ships.

The two were spotted in early March at Istanbul's Sabiha Gökçen Airport on their return from a tour around Europe that took them to, among other places, Scandinavia, to witness the Northern Lights and Paris. It was during the stop in the French capital that the Turkish actress and her new partner were spotted at Disneyland Paris.
