V is currently an ambassador for the French luxury brand Celine and is scheduled to attend the Cannes International Film Festival at the invitation of Celine.

In response, a representative from his agency confirmed in a phone call with Sports Seoul, "It's true that V is attending the Cannes International Film Festival at the invitation of Celine."

Jennie is also scheduled to attend the official screening of the American HBO original series 'The Idol' on the 22nd, which has been invited to the non-competitive section of the Cannes International Film Festival.

Coincidentally, V arrived in Nice, France, a day before the red carpet and world premiere of 'The Idol,' which stars Jennie.
