Actress Demet Özdemir, who decided to end her 8-month marriage with Oğuzhan Koç, explained why their relationship didn't work out with the following words: "You say goodbye when the time is up. Everything ends as it should, at the right time and in the right way."
Demet Özdemir posed for the new issue of InStyle magazine. When asked why relationships can't be sustained with love alone, she replied:
"I might be the last person you would ask this question to these days. Nevertheless, I can say a few things from my own relationships and my friends. In my opinion, there is no such thing as 'cannot be sustained'. Don't think I'm simplifying it, but the things we agree on in life, the number of chapters, friendships, and relationships are all a journey. You try to take it as far as possible, do your best, and say goodbye when the time is up. I am a realistic person, I look at things from a time perspective. That's why I say, 'It ends as it should, at the right time and in the right way,' not 'Why can't it be sustained?'"
I Feel Strong and Good About Myself
Regarding her recent work routine, Demet Özdemir said:
"Especially if we talk about the last year, I am very happy because of being able to embody different characters in such a short time. That's why I feel very good and strong."
When asked if it's tiring to share both happiness and sadness in front of everyone, the actress replied:
"I have learned a lot about when to share every emotion. I always prefer to share happiness because everything else is too personal and variable."
