Kim Young Dae reveals a spoiler about BTS's V solo album

Music critic Kim Young Dae's remarks are drawing attention as anticipation builds for BTS's V solo album.

During a conference on BTS at the 2023 ACC Humanities Lecture, Kim Young Dae recently mentioned V, the latest BTS member to embark on a solo venture.

At the event, when Kim Young Dae mentioned that he had listened to several songs from V's solo album, the audience became excited. He caught attention by saying with caution, "I can't tell you too much, but I think you'll be a little surprised."

Kim Young Dae raised expectations by sharing, "One can say it's a new discovery of a vocalist named V. Of course, there's also a familiar image of V. However, I think you'll be surprised by this image, and you'll exclaim, 'He handled it well this way.'"

He added, "First of all, the music is very good. V has a very attractive voice, but in BTS's songs, there are interpretations in certain directions. In this album, he has resolved this matter well. It's very natural."

He added curiosity by announcing, "If you're curious to discover the natural V, wait for it. And there's a unique reason that I can't tell you now. You'll probably be surprised. It's not a collaboration."

The video is spreading in online communities, eliciting enthusiastic responses from fans. Fans are reacting with comments like "I'm already excited," "I can't wait to hear V's voice," and "V's voice is the best."

Especially, during the press conference preceding BTS's concert in Los Angeles in 2021, V said, "BTS's music is both similar and different from my musical style. I generally have a preference for blues or jazz, and I'm working on my personal music with the idea of wanting to express it."

"I hope one day I can show my own music that is different from BTS's." That's why fans' support for V's unique musical challenge continues to grow.

Since J-Hope in July of last year, to Jin, RM, Jimin, Suga, and Jungkook, BTS members are showing different musical colors and directions through their individual activities.

Meanwhile, Big Hit Music agency previously announced its position regarding rumors of V's solo debut in the third quarter of this year: "The schedule will be revealed once confirmed."
