The BTS member unveiled a behind-the-scenes story. With high expectations surrounding this unprecedented collaboration, the backstage process of V's preparations also became a hot topic.

On the 11th, V held a live broadcast on the official fan platform Weverse to interact with his fans. As the latest BTS member to debut solo, V's intention was to directly share the news with his fans and give them an insight into his preparation journey.

During the live broadcast, V specifically mentioned his collaboration with Min Hee-jin, the producer behind the creation of NewJeans. He drew attention by stating, "The working process this time was truly unique. It was remarkably natural," and he expressed his anticipation by adding, "She captured the atmosphere that I really love very well."

Regarding his collaboration with producer Min Hee-jin, V said, "I don't call Min Hee-jin representative, I call her 'noona' (an affectionate term for an older sister). Noona Min Hee-jin said, 'Taehyung, do you have time tomorrow? Come for a moment.' So, I went out, and as soon as I got there, she said, 'Taehyung, stand here,' and she took a photo. It was my first time. I was surprised. As soon as I got there, with no preparation, it was really that natural. We worked joyfully."

Although it was V's first experience with such a process, he worked naturally and joyfully under the direction of producer Min Hee-jin. V said, "I didn't think it was a photoshoot, I went out for a picnic, to observe the surroundings, and suddenly, photos were taken." He believed that the naturally captured photos were good, and he expressed that the A.R.M.Ys would also love them, thereby raising expectations.

The collaboration between V and producer Min Hee-jin had already generated high expectations, as it was a combination that had garnered attention from the start. It was a collaboration between V and the producer behind the birth of the new K-pop genre "NewJeans."

Min Hee-jin explained, "There was a musical style that I wanted to propose to V. Based on that, I created the current song list, considering his vocal tone and style. Our opinions immediately aligned. V's vocal performances and visuals, simple yet moving, will leave a lasting impression."

On the other hand, V dominated the iTunes Top Song chart in 70 countries with his new solo single "Rainy Days," released the day before, according to his promotional agency BigHit Music.

"Rainy Days," one of the six tracks unveiled ahead of the release of his first solo album, "Layover," took the top spot in countries like France, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, and several others on Saturday, as per the agency.

"Love Me Again," another song that will be featured in "Layover" and was released simultaneously with "Rainy Days," topped the iTunes charts in 35 nations, including Austria, Bulgaria, and Romania. V is the latest member of the septet to debut as a solo artist. "Layover" is set to be released on September 8th.
