Turkish heartthrob Can Yaman has been reported by a shopkeeper in Civita Castellana for an assault while filming "Viola come il mare 2." The cast and crew of the Canale 5 series appear to have suddenly changed the location after this unfortunate incident. Are these two things related?

A shopkeeper with a clothing store in Civita Castellana has reported Turkish heartthrob Can Yaman for verbally assaulting her a few days ago. According to the woman, the incident occurred during the filming of the second season of "Viola come il mare." The production had moved to the town in Viterbo specifically to shoot some episodes of the new season.

Can Yaman, Change of Location for "Viola come il mare": What's Happening?

The outdoor set had involved the main square of Civita Castellana, Piazza Matteotti, disrupting traffic and forcing shops to close due to the filming of "Viola come il mare 2." From the very first "action," however, shopkeeper Barbara Nelli complained to both the municipal administration and the production. She requested compensation for the lost income from the forced closure of her store for the week.

Then, one day, the Turkish heartthrob allegedly entered her store in a rage and verbally assaulted her, accusing her of having the radio volume too high. According to the shopkeeper, it took four men to restrain him. Consequently, the woman filed a report against Can Yaman. Lux Vide, the production company, offered her compensation of 600 euros, which the shopkeeper refused.

Recently, it has been announced that the cast and crew of "Viola come il mare" have decided to suddenly change the location. Filming from Monday, September 11th, to Wednesday, September 13th, will be moved to Monterotondo. The historic center will serve as the backdrop for the Canale 5 series, starring the Turkish heartthrob and former Miss Italy, Francesca Chillemi.

On the website of Comune di Monterotondo, there is a notice regarding changes in traffic and parking in the historic center. Many have wondered if the relocation of filming for the second season of "Viola come il mare" to the city just outside of Rome was already planned or if Lux Vide made this choice in response to the events in Civita Castellana. Currently, neither the Turkish heartthrob nor the production has commented on the alleged assault or provided further explanations for the relocation of filming.
