Can Yaman, a serious incident: he attacked a shopkeeper!
The cast and crew are filming some scenes of the new episodes of the Canale 5 series "Viola come il mare" in the town of Viterbo. According to the account provided by the shopkeeper from Civita Castellana to "Il Messaggero" the Turkish star had an exaggerated reaction, accusing the shopkeeper of playing the music too loudly near the filming location.
"He entered the store like a whirlwind, telling me to turn off the music," said the shopkeeper. According to the actor, the loud music was preventing them from concentrating on their lines. "They had to restrain him with four people because he wanted to attack me, and he even kicked one of the people trying to hold him back. I was very frightened" she recounted.
According to the owner of the store in Civita Castellana, the situation took a dangerous turn. The woman found herself in a difficult situation since her shop, located in Piazza Matteotti, was affected by the traffic ban imposed by the municipality to allow for the filming.
"My shop is right where the filming was taking place, so since Monday, I couldn't welcome customers, nor could I receive packages from couriers. I have complained about the situation several times to the municipal administration and the production."
The shopkeeper explicitly requested financial compensation for the damages she suffered due to the lost earnings of the week. "I made myself available to show the daily income because I have no intention of taking advantage of this," she explained.
"I entered the shop early, at 7 in the morning. I started cleaning. Once inside, I couldn't either leave or receive customers. I was practically trapped. So, I turned on the radio. Shortly after, two people came in to ask me to turn it off. While I was speaking and politely explaining my reasons, Can Yaman arrived like a whirlwind and verbally assaulted me. They had to restrain him with four people, and I was afraid."
To calm the shopkeeper down, former Miss Italy Francesca Chillemi intervened, reassuring her and asking her to "do it for her." The production reportedly contacted the woman to offer her compensation of 600 euros, which the shopkeeper declined.
