Demet Ozdemir was the most photographed star at the Venice Film Festival, and the Turkish actress was swarmed by fans during her appearance at the Hotel Excelsior. TAG24 caught up with her at the presentation of the Kineo Award, where she will receive international recognition on the evening of September 2nd.

Demet Ozdemir, a star at the 2023 Venice Film Festival, shares smiles with everyone, demonstrating her love for her fans and a good dose of humor: "This is my voice, even if some of you may not recognize it," she jokes immediately.

"This is my first time in Venice. In the first five years of my career, I portrayed many strong women, and it is an honor to be here with all these great actresses," she added while bidding farewell in Italian, amidst smiles.

There is much talk of a debut for Demet Ozdemir in Italy, following in the footsteps of Can Yaman, with whom she shares a strong friendship that some speculate might be something more. The Turkish actor is also a frequent visitor to the Lido, and photographers are on the lookout for a potential encounter between the two.
