Rumors had emerged that Demet Özdemir, who purchased a house in the capital of Greece, Athens, and spent almost her entire summer there, was in a relationship with Greek DJ Sergio.
Responding to questions for the first time, the actress stated that there is no one in her life. She said, "There is no one in my life; I only made very good friendships there. You are just mentioning one name, but I was in contact with many, many people. My house was built, and I established a very nice social circle. So, I can only say that there is no one in my life."
When asked, "Are you saying that all these names are wrong then, is that correct?" Özdemir's response was, "Yes, that's correct." When asked, "Have you closed the doors to your heart and turned your back on love?" Demet responded, "No, why should I? I haven't turned my back on it at all. Why would I? It's not something that can be closed or shut out, nor is it something to be searched for, so I don't want to make such sharp statements. I don't do that in my work either.
