Addressing the producers, the famous actress said, "Do you know that there are people over 40 in this country? Perhaps the writers want to write about them, but the producers do not accept, or it seems they don't. We no longer watch TV series and films on television; now we watch a fashion show. They dress up the girls. There is neither a story nor meaningful dialogue."

Dermancıoğlu also criticized Netflix's film "Love Tactics" starring Demet Özdemir and Şükrü Özyıldız, and said, "They are making films called 'Love Tactics.' What love tactics, which tactics? Those are old, they are long gone. They did that in America 200 years ago. America made that film during World War II. There is nothing like that; no one is using any tactics. Producers think that when a story about people over 50 is placed in Turkey, it won't be watched, but it will be watched just like fathers."
