I think it means being able to adapt to whatever life throws at you and gaining flexibility. When you can still stand and hope even after going through tests that you couldn't plan for, or even dream of, you begin to believe in the strength within you. Every difficulty that you thought wouldn't pass, in one way or another, when it does pass, it leaves a mark and experience that makes you stronger.
Then, when asked about the process of acting and when an actor is described as brave, Erçel said, "Acting is an ongoing learning process, in my opinion. Every role is a new world, every script is a new challenge with yourself. I'm always trying to improve myself, take every criticism seriously, and contribute to my path.
I take singing lessons, work with an acting coach." She added, "Acting is already a profession that requires a lot of courage. In my eyes, all actors are courageous.
Performing in front of thousands of people, on-screen, often sacrificing your personal life for your job, being ready to face disapproval and criticism, and yet dedicating your days and nights to that performance, to that job, is a courageous situation."
