In the past weeks, Kınalı criticized Hande Erçel's acting, saying, "First, I want to underline that Hande Erçel has a lot of followers, and she's popular. I don't understand why she's popular. I don't know the reason for it either. Her acting is zero, well, there's nothing, I seek forgiveness from the beautiful girl. That's it. I don't like the acting of Hande Erçel, Serenay Sarıkaya, and similar actresses."
