BTS members RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are preparing to embark on their military service. On November 22, BIGHIT Music officially announced via Weverse:

"Hello, This is BIGHIT Music. We would like to inform our fans that RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook have initiated the process of military enlistment. The artists are getting ready to fulfill their military duty and carry out their obligations. We will provide further details at the appropriate time. We ask for your continued love and support for RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook until they complete their military service and return in good health. Our company will spare no effort in providing all necessary support to our artists. Thank you." As Jin, j-hope, and SUGA are already undergoing their military service, there are now only four members left within BTS who will begin their military service.
