The status of Lisa and BLACKPINK within YG Entertainment is once again under discussion!

Recently, fans discovered through Lisa's BLACKPINK manager Alice's LinkedIn profile that she stopped working with YG Entertainment since October 2023. As a result, many fans are concerned, stating that BLACKPINK's contract with YG Entertainment might have ended, with no news on the renewal status being released.

The departure of the manager may also be linked to Lisa's departure, given their close relationship.

Many have claimed that in the case of other groups that renewed their contracts, such as BTS, SEVENTEEN, or TWICE, the agency always issued a statement well before the contract expiration date. However, even now, YG remains silent about BLACKPINK, leading to suspicion that BLACKPINK has not renewed their contracts.

On the other hand, several fans argued that Alice Kang, along with other BLACKPINK managers, were supposed to work with the group only during their world tour and Coachella performance. The main managers of BLACKPINK are all men, so as long as they are there, BLACKPINK has not yet left YG.
