Burak Deniz Acquitted from the Lawsuit Initiated by Nilperi Şahinkaya

Actor Burak Deniz has been acquitted from the lawsuit filed by actress Nilperi Şahinkaya.

The case stemmed from an incident at the 29th International Golden Boll Film Festival Awards Ceremony, where actor Burak Deniz, accused of verbally assaulting his girlfriend, Nilperi Şahinkaya, who attended the event with her boyfriend Emre Yusufi.

In the public trial filed against Burak Deniz for the offense of "attempted simple bodily harm" under Articles 86/2, 35/2, 53 of the Turkish Penal Code, the court ruled for acquittal due to the fact that the act charged was not defined as a crime in the law.

According to a report on Birgün, in another public trial against Burak Deniz for charges of threat and insult, the court also ruled for acquittal, citing a lack of evidence proving the defendant's guilt for the alleged crimes.
