In recent months, the Turkish heartthrob Can Yaman has been heavily involved in the filming of the Canale 5 series "Viola come il mare." Despite his busy schedule, he did not neglect his commitments with his charitable foundation across Italy. A few days ago, he was honored with a prestigious award at the Senate in Rome.

The association Can Yaman for Children, founded by the Turkish star, received a prestigious recognition as part of the annual Mede@ Award. Alongside the actor's association, the "Break the Wall Tour," a charitable initiative for children and adolescents facing youth issues, was also awarded.

The Mede@ Award took place last Thursday, November 23, at 5 PM at Palazzo Madama in Rome.

"A milestone that makes us proud of the project accomplished and projects us towards the future, pursuing the path and goals achieved, in support of the young and their future. We dedicate this award to all of you who support and encourage us. This award is yours too."

These were the words used by the Turkish heartthrob on Instagram to share the event and thank the fans who supported and encouraged his initiative.

"It is immense pride for me and for Can Yaman for Children to receive this prestigious award. I thank Mede@ and its godmother, Anna Fendi, for bestowing this recognition on our association. The results of a huge effort, made with the heart, so that many kids can smile again."

The lead actor of "Viola come il mare" is deeply committed to social causes and has always demonstrated it. He has consistently been close to the youngest, especially those in need. In the summer of 2021, his dream materialized when he founded Can Yaman for Children, a non-profit organization aimed at supporting children and adolescents in the socio-health field.

Since March 2023, together with his association, the Turkish heartthrob has launched the "Break the Wall Tour." The project was sponsored by the Child Neuropsychiatry Department of the Umberto I Policlinico in Rome. The primary goal of the initiative is to help young people overcome social issues exacerbated during the pandemic. The absence of interaction and integration, coupled with the development of technological dependence, has generated harmful dynamics of alienation and isolation.
