Nilperi Şahinkaya, who has been in a legal battle with Burak Deniz, continues her persistent stance in the case. After Deniz was acquitted, Şahinkaya met with her lawyer Nail Gönenli, and conveyed the message, "The case is not over."

Nilperi Şahinkaya had claimed that Burak Deniz had verbally attacked and assaulted her at a hotel in Adana, and she had sued the handsome actor. Deniz was acquitted in the case where he was tried for assault and insult. However, Şahinkaya had repeatedly stated that she would not give up on this matter.

Şahinkaya met with lawyer Nail Gönenli and her boyfriend Emre Yusufi the other day in Emirgan to discuss the details of the case. Commenting on Deniz's acquittal, Gönenli said, "We had a meeting and evaluated the agenda as friends. There is nothing over with the case; the process is ongoing. We will have another hearing. We have filed our objection. As I said, the trial is not over yet."

In a YouTube program, Şahinkaya had expressed her anger when someone sitting at the same table as her flirted with her boyfriend. Regarding the incident, she said, "There was jealousy, like everyone has. Of course, everyone gets very upset. If someone flirts with your boyfriend in front of you, you get upset. My boyfriend knows where to stand. In four years, this situation happened only once. Everyone already knows what is what."
