Park Seo Joon Opens Up About His Screen Time in The Marvels

Renowned actor Park Seo Joon recently shared insights into his experience during the filming of the blockbuster Hollywood movie "The Marvels."

In a recent interview with Korean media, Park Seo Joon discussed his first venture into a Hollywood blockbuster with "The Marvels." He expressed, "It was my first time working on a project of such magnitude with enormous production costs. Things were definitely different on set. It was much more organized, and everyone truly respected each other."

Filming in the United Kingdom, Park Seo Joon noted the diverse international crew, saying, "I thought there would be mostly British people, but everyone came from all regions of the world. We started each day by dancing together to exciting music. It was fun."

However, the actor admitted that performing in English posed a challenge for him: "The director always encouraged me, saying I was doing well. But it was still challenging to act and communicate in English all the time." This opportunity is not easy to come by in life. So, I accepted this role, knowing how much screen time I had. I'm not upset about the screen time in the film because the main reason I joined was to experience the filmmaking process in Hollywood. It may be an experience that may not repeat in the future. Park Seo Joon also shared an interesting aspect of the filming process: " 'The Marvels' was shot during the pandemic, so I had to be tested at least four times a week." He chuckled and added, "I have never been poked in the nose so much in my life."
