Can Yaman, the beloved Turkish actor, recently took a brief hiatus and, true to form, eagerly made his way back to Istanbul to reunite with his cherished family. His deep connection to his loved ones is no secret, and he consistently prioritizes spending quality time with them. Nevertheless, only a few hours ago, he made his way back to Rome to fully immerse himself in his latest role for the Sandokan TV series.
Can Yaman reunite with his family: the journey to Istanbul
The past year has been quite eventful and full of work commitments for the Turkish heartthrob, Can Yaman. Due to these reasons, the actor couldn't frequently return to Istanbul, where his family resides. Recall that last year, he spent over six months away from Italy to shoot the TV series El Turco, which will be available on Disney Plus. After completing the filming in Hungary, the heartthrob admitted feeling disoriented and detached.
For Yaman, the best way to recharge is by being close to his family, especially his mother, Gulten, and his father, Guven. After the commitment in Hungary, the Turkish heartthrob spent several months filming the second season of the Lux Vide series Viola come il mare between Rome and Palermo. Between stops on the "Break the Wall Tour" organized with Can Yaman for Children, he wrapped up filming and is now ready for his new project. The remake series will see him portraying the Tiger of Malaysia, a character created by Emilio Salgari.
The actor is already undergoing an impressive physical transformation for the role he is about to take on. In less than a month, he has lost a remarkable 10 kilograms to immerse himself fully in the character of Sandokan. With a few days of relaxation before starting the shooting, the heartthrob flew to Istanbul to reunite with his family and shared photos of the reunion with the entire Yaman family on social media. Ironically, the actor wrote in an Instagram post, "My bodyguards."
