In his Instagram posts, he wanted to reveal to his fans the real reason why he chose to come to Italy more than three years ago.
When I decided to come to Italy more than 3 years ago, mainly to play Sandokan, it was January 2021, and we immediately started working together with stunt people. They trained me for 5 months straight. And then for various reasons, we couldn't realize this great project. We're only making it happen now in April 2024. While waiting I did other projects and here we are. Once again I am with my stunt friends and we are working again for 4 months
The Turkish actor reminded his fans that the Sandokan project had been in the works for many years and that was what brought him to Italy. His work with Lux Vide's new drama is very demanding, and working with stunt people is a key part of the project. "They are the ones who train you physically, develop your body, and be a conduit to discover your character," the Turkish star revealed. Then he added how it is precisely the stuntmen who risk their lives instead of the actors.
The stunt world is a very different world. And I respect them so much.
